The story of Marley was so popular, that the author decided to write a book about his dog just for kids. Marley is a yellow Labrador retriever who eats just about anything and is always getting into trouble for stealing underwear and crashing into screen doors. He is a ton of work for his family to take care of, but he also teaches them lessons about what really matters in life. This is a true story!

I read the book over the summer and I thought it was awesome! I liked how it told about Marley's whole life and how he got into lots of trouble.

I loved the book. The dog they named Marley is so cute, friendly, and very clumsy. Besides the end the whole story is happy. I would reccomend this to all animal lovers, people with dog pets,and to everyone who can take a sad kind of ending.
